Fraudulent insurance claims are a big problem for Fleet  Managers. In the heat of the moment, it is difficult for drivers to collect all the information necessary to successfully defend a claim.

YRfree technology would enable drivers to stream a live video from the scene. The video would capture the date, time and location of the incident, the final position of the vehicles and their orientation to the road. It could also record the number of people travelling in the vehicles at the time of the accident and, using Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), verify the insurance status of the vehicles involved. The ANPR facility is a Certified System with the UK Home Office and conforms to BoF2 Standards

Rather than being alone with the problem, the driver could be in constant contact with his fleet manager or a nominated claims assessor, who could ask to see the incident from different angles or request additional information whilst all parties are present at the scene.
